the house edit : sunday reset

it's sunday girls, time to reset

There is something quietly luxurious about preparing for the week before it begins. The Sunday Reset isn't about productivity for the sake of doing more. It's about creating space—physically, mentally, and emotionally—

so the week unfolds with more intention and less reaction.

Think of it as setting the tone rather than chasing it.

01. reset your space

A clear space creates a clear mind.

Instead of rushing through chores, romanticize them. Put on your favorite playlist, light a candle, open the windows, and move slowly.

Focus on the spaces you interact with every day:

  • Change your sheets and make the bed.

  • Wipe down the kitchen and bathroom.

  • Vacuum, tidy, and put everything back in its place.

  • Empty the trash and refresh your everyday essentials.`

Your home should feel like an exhale the moment you walk through the door.

02. Plan your movement first.

Your workouts deserve a place on your calendar before everything else fills it.

Book your Pilates classes, schedule your walks, and protect those appointments with yourself the same way you would an important meeting.

Consistency is built through planning—not motivation.

Movement becomes easier when the decision has already been made. You deserve time to just breathe and care for your body and mind.

03. Curate your calendar.

Open your planner and look at the week ahead.

Highlight your non-negotiables.

Then ask yourself:

  • What actually deserves my energy?

  • What can wait?

  • Where can I create more space?

Leave room for slow mornings, dinners with friends, or an evening walk. A full calendar isn't always a fulfilled one.

04. Plan your meals.

You don't need an elaborate meal prep routine.

Simply decide what breakfast, lunch, and dinner will look like for the first few days of the week.

Create your grocery list before Monday arrives- I love a whole foods or trader joe's run ft. fresh flowers for the week.

Having nourishing food ready makes healthy choices feel effortless instead of overwhelming throughout the week.

05. Refresh your wardrobe.

Take ten minutes to prepare for the week.

Steam a few outfits.

Set out your favorite activewear.

Clean your sneakers.

Refill your everyday tote with headphones, lip balm, water bottle, electrolytes, and anything else you'll reach for throughout the week.

Small details remove unnecessary decision fatigue.

06. Review your priorities.

Instead of writing a never-ending to-do list, choose your top three priorities.

Ask yourself:

"If these three things happen this week, I'll feel accomplished."

Everything else becomes a bonus.

Clarity creates momentum.

07. Nourish your mind.

A reset isn't only physical.

Spend twenty minutes away from your phone.

Read a chapter of a book.

Journal without editing yourself.

Meditate.

Stretch.

Take a bath.

Listen to music while the sun sets.

Give your nervous system permission to slow down before asking it to perform all week.

08. Restock your wellness staples.

Check the little things that make your routine feel elevated.

Fresh coffee.

Electrolytes.

Protein.

Skincare.

Supplements.

Candles.

Flowers.

A stocked home creates an unexpected sense of calm.

09. End the day early.

One of the most overlooked parts of a successful Monday is a peaceful Sunday evening.

Dim the lights.

Take a warm shower.

Do your skincare.

Put on comfortable pajamas.

Stay off your phone for the last hour before bed.

Sleep is the most underrated productivity tool.

The House Edit

The most beautiful routines aren't the most complicated.

They're the ones that feel sustainable enough to repeat.

The Sunday Reset isn't about perfection. Some weeks you'll deep clean every room, other weeks you'll simply wash your sheets and book your Pilates class.

Both count.

Because resetting isn't about becoming someone new.

It's about returning to yourself.

And that's always the best place to begin the week.

Simply remembering how beautiful life feels when it's lived a little slower.
